Tan Son Nhat international airport offers new service and facilities
05/11/2016 08:58Tan Son Nhat international airport (TIA) in HCM City has put into use part of the expanded international terminal, including a playground for kids and free sleeping pods for passengers.
 Three business class lounges at the international terminal have been upgraded, with a dining area serving European and Asian dishes and vegetarian food.
The new space covers a total area of 8,780 m2.
In addition to 20 free sleeping benches, the expanded area also has a long row of chairs.
The two most interesting facilities are a playground for children and sleeping benches on an area of 100 m2.
Passengers said they liked the new services at the airport, especially the free sleeping benches.

There are also 10 mini-bedrooms priced at $7 per hour. Each pod is about 4 m2, 2.7 m high.
A representative of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Aviation Services Company (SASCO) said the firm was upgrading the quality of all services at the expanded international terminal.
