A pristine area of coconut trees and large fruit gardens has made Ben Tre one of the nation’s precious green ecological complexes.
As one of the major agricultural suppliers in the Mekong Delta, Ben Tre is a province of fertile flatlands, extensive waterways, sand-hillocks, green paddy fields and lush orchards. Here, visitors have the chance to enjoy various agricultural produces, especially fruits such as coconut, durian, shaddock, etc.
The special feature of Ben Tre is the vast green orchards where visitors are allowed to pick fresh fruits from the trees and try as they want. Cultural and historical destinations such as Dua Religion Site, Tuyen Linh Pagoda and Dong Khoi Village are also well-known tourist attractions in Ben Tre.

Tuyen Linh Temple was built from bamboo in 1861 near the Tan Huong channel in Minh Duc, Mo Cay, Ben Tre. The temple was firstly named Tien Linh, and led by Abbot Khanh Phong.

Cambodia Angkor Air has officially announced that it will launch an international flight between Siem Riep and Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi from October 30.

There will be five flights per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the route with Airbus planes.
The peak time from December 15, 2016 to February 28, 2017 will see one flight per day.
This is the third international route to be launched by Cambodia Angkor Air in 2016, following Ho Chi Minh City – Sihanoukville and Siem Riep – Danang city.
Thus, the airline now has 12 international and two domestic flight routes.

The Mekong Delta city of Can Tho has won the 2016 Asian Townscape Award from the Asia-Pacific regional office of the UN Human Settlements (UN-HABITAT) programme.
Foreign tourists visit Phong Đien floating market, a unique feature in local life, of Can Tho.
The award seeks to honour significant efforts made by Asian cities and organisations for the improvement, revitalisation and creation of a beautiful and harmonious townscape that is safe and sustainable and respects history and local cultures.
The awards ceremony for the contest, which consists of the Asian Townscape Prize and Jury Voting Prize, is expected to take place in China at the end of October.
The Can Tho Construction Department said the award has given the city an opportunity to promote its image with the international community.
