Vietnamese Cuisine Festival 2016 to gather cuisine features and farm products

Vietnamese Cuisine Festival 2016, which will take place at Thanh Nien Park, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province from August 29 to September 4, will become a place for regions nationwide to introduce their specialties.                     Diversified cuisine Vietnamese Cuisine Festival 2016 is expected to advertise cuisine specialties of regions as well as of Khanh Hoa Province to tourists. Hanoi offers free Wi-Fi around Hoan Kiem Lake next month

Twenty-one hotspots are being installed around Hoan Kiem Lake as Hanoi prepares to launch its free public Wi-Fi service in the area on Sep. 1, an official has said. Visitors to the lake, a well known tourist destination, will be able to roam using the free Wi-Fi hotspots as of Sep. 1, Tuoi Tre newspaper quoted the official from the Hanoi Information and Communication Department as saying. Users, however, will need to log in again after every 30 minutes to continue using the service, he said.     The free Wi-Fi hotspots will debut at the same time as Hanoi starts to turn streets around Hoan Kiem Lake into walking-only streets every evening from Friday to Sunday to make the area more tourist-friendly. Hanoi to ban vehicles around Hoan Kiem Lake to attract tourists

Photo: Ngoc Thang Hanoi is set to ban all vehicles on streets around Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake every evening from Friday to Sunday starting September 1 to make it tourist-friendly. They will be pedestrians-only from 7 p.m. to midnight, and relevant agencies will assign personnel to regulate traffic and prevent possible congestion elsewhere as a result, according to Hanoi Transport Department. Several bus routes will be modified to avoid the banned areas. Around the area, there will be 18 parking lots for buses and cars and 57 for motorbikes with a capacity of more than 600 cars and 2,700 motorbikes. The capital got its first walking-only street in 2004 when a section of Hang Dao Street was made off-limits to vehicles.
