Son La

Area: 14,174.4 sq. km. Population: 1,134.3 thousand habitants (2012). Capital: Son La City. Districts: Quynh Nhai, Muong La, Thuan Chau, Phu Yen, Bac Yen, Mai Son, Song Ma, Yen Chau, Moc Chau, Sop Cop, Van Ho. Ethnic groups: Dao, Thai, Viet (Kinh), H'Mong, Muong. Soc Trang

Area: 3,311.6 sq. km. Population: 1,301.9 thousand habitants (2012). Capital: Soc Trang City. Town: Vinh Chau. Districts: Ke Sach, My Tu, My Xuyen, Thanh Tri, Long Phu, Cu Lao Dung, Chau Thanh, Nga Nam. Ethnic groups: Viet (Kinh), Khmer, Cham, Hoa... Doi (Bat) Pagoda (Soc Trang Province) Geography Situated in Mekong Delta, Soc Trang is surrounded by Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu and East Sea.
