Da Nang Museum

Da Nang Museum was established in 1989. It was later rebuilt at a new location within the precinct of the national historical relic of Dien Hai Citadel at No 24 Tran Phu Street, Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District. It is equipped with modern audio/visual equipment and lighting systems. The new museum was inaugurated and opened for visitors on 26 April 2011.

 

Da Nang Museum covers a three-storey display area of 3,000 m2.  It introduces more than 2,500 valuable documents, photographs and exhibits about the history and culture of Da Nang and its surrounding areas.  They include more than 1,900 originals which have been collected since Liberation Day in 1975.

The Da Nang Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays) from 8.00 am until 11.30 am and 2 pm until 4.30 pm.
