The Linh Ung Pagoda on Ba Na Mountain was inaugurated on 5 March 2004. It is one of three Linh Ung pagodas in Da Nang, the other two being Linh Ung, Son Tra Peninsula and Linh Ung, Marble Mountains. Linh Ung, Ba Na, is the highest pagoda of the three, located at around 1,400 metres above sea level.

The pagoda is part of the Ba Na-Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Zone on top of Ba Na Mountain, which is about 28km to the west of Da Nang, and is in An Loi Hamlet, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District.

Within the precinct of this supremely peaceful spot, the Most Venerable Thien Nguyen constructed a colossal 27-metre-high white seated Buddha, positioned on a 6-metre-high lotus-shaped platform that is visible for miles around.  From this pagoda, you can enjoy a panorama of the city with views of Da Nang Bay, the coastal line stretching from the foot of Hai Van Pass to the Son Tra Peninsula, My Khe Beach and the Marble Mountains.
