Tam Thai Pagoda is on Thuy Son (Water), one of the Marble Mountains.  This  pagoda was constructed in 1930 and is considered a national pagoda and a Buddhist site.

The pagoda has three storeys, which are: Thuong Thai, Trung Thai and Ha Thai.  Pho Dong Tower, Tu Lam Pagoda and Vong Giang Dai (river-view pavilion) are adjacent to Tam Thai Pagoda.  Vong Giang Dai offers a fantastic view of the Truong Giang and Cam Le rivers, and the Truong Son Mountain range.  To the left of the pagoda is Huyen Khong Cave, with  Linh Nham Cave, Tang Chon Cave and Linh Ung Pagoda nearby.

Its architecture follows the shape of the Chinese character meaning “king” with high artistic value, which was typical of the architectural style of temples and pagodas under the Nguyen Dynasty.
