There are bamboo bridges for tourists to walk around the island. Tourists have to buy tickets from Cau Da Port in Nha Trang.
A one-day tour to the island costs VND350,000 (US$16) a person and tourists will be served breakfast, lunch, drinks and fruits. All tourists have to leave by nightfall.

To have the best view of the island, you can climb up Du Ha, a small mountain around 90 meters high. The Hon Ngoai island afar is home to the largest number of salangane nests in Vietnam.
