Nha Trang people circulated origin story of Hon Chong: Once upon a time, there was a boy worked as a fisherman. One day, he was netting down and saw a herd of fairies playing in the beach. He hide behind the rock watching. When being the first lady fairy discovered, he fell into the sea. On a big rock has a shape like a hand, people said that was the hand print of the boy when he felt over .
