         <title><![CDATA[Pho Da Pagoda]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[Pho Da Pagoda is at 340 Phan Chau Trinh Street, Binh Thuan Ward, Hai Chau District.&nbsp; It was founded and built by the Venerable Thich Ton Thang in 1915, and was restored in 1962, 1970, 1983 and 2000.

The Da Nang Buddhist High School (formerly called The Buddhist High School of Quang Nam-Da Nang Buddhist Association) is also located at this pagoda, and many monks and nuns from Da Nang and Quang Nam have been trained here since 1992.

         <description><![CDATA[Built on a site of 12 hectares on the Son Tra Peninsula, the Lin Ung, Son Tra Pagoda is the largest in Da Nang in terms of scale and artistic architecture. The pagoda is famous for its beautiful 67-metre-tall Goddess of Mercy statue standing on a lotus-shaped platform.

It is one of three Linh Ung pagodas in Da Nang, the other two being Linh Ung, Son Tra Peninsula and Linh Ung, Marble Mountains. Linh Ung, Ba Na, is the highest pagoda of the three, located at around 1,400 metres above sea level.

         <description><![CDATA[Located at 156 Tran Phu Street, Da Nang Cathedral was constructed by Louis Vallet, a priest who sketched the overall building on the land around the Rue du Musée (the present Tran Phu Street). Construction began in February 1923.

The candy-pink cathedral is nearly 70m high and was the only church built in Da Nang by the French colonialists.&nbsp;&nbsp;It was constructed in a Gothic style.

         <description><![CDATA[The church, located on Ong Ich Khiem Street, is one of the biggest Protestant churches in Da Nang.
&nbsp;

The church was designed and constructed by American missionaries R A Fabbray, Paul M Hoaster and G Loyd Huglers in 1913, and it started classes for Bible teaching in 1920.&nbsp;&nbsp;The church was rebuilt with solid materials in 1922 and restored with a modern architectural style in 2000.
