Ancient Faifo is a new upscale contemporary Vietnamese restaurant in the middle of Hoi An's old town. The menu is a mix of familiar Vietnamese dishes and some more experimental options. It's organised in an unnecessarily restrictive set menu however. This is among Hoi An's most expensive restaurants but it's reasonably priced for the atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive too

Brother’s Cafe secured the most spectacular location and colonial era complex of buildings in Hoi An when it opened back in 2000.
